My purpose is to foster communities that empower people of all abilities to dream bigger and do great things. I am building and funding the things I wish existed when I was younger.
I am a speaker, social impact entrepreneur, diversity & inclusion community builder, and inclusion and empowerment advocate. I am the CEO & Founder of Diversability (rebranding disability through community) and the Founder of the Awesome Foundation Disability Chapter (monthly micro-grants for disability projects, $20.5k granted to 21 projects in 6 countries). I also serve on the Leadership Committee to plan for a Disability Cultural Center in San Francisco.
I've been named one of the "100 most influential Asian Americans of 2017," one of "100 visionary leaders," and a "women of influence" honoree. I've been featured in Marie Claire, Forbes, the Guardian, the Ford Foundation, and The Wall Street Journal, and have spoken at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, TEDx, and Harvard. You can find my writing in the World Economic Forum, Business Insider, Fortune, and Levo League.
My previous experience is in web development (I built this website), corporate finance and corporate development, recruiting, business journalism, and community management. Previously, I served as an Advisor to an international venture capital firm and worked at Bloomberg and venture-backed startups in real estate and music. I started my career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where I was ranked in the top of my peer group and worked on over $14 billion of announced transactions.
I graduated with honors from Georgetown University, am pursuing my Executive Master's degree at the London School of Economics, and currently live in San Francisco.
As an advocate for women in business/leadership and disability inclusion, I have spoken internationally at colleges, conferences, nonprofits and other public events. I would love to speak at your next event. Contact me to get started.
